Temple B'nai Israel Religious School
Shanah Tovah! As the year begins, I look forward to this school year with excitement. We’ve decided on a theme for the year—“Israel: Discover the Homeland”. With war raging around and within the state of Israel, it is vital that we educate our children about their Jewish Homeland. We’ve ordered lots of new books, and each class has a book to help focus on our Theme. In addition, we’re kicking off the year with an increased focus on Tzedakah. The boys and girls will be competing to see who can donate the most of his or her own “spare change”, and we are collecting non-perishable food items we hope to give to a local food pantry. If anyone wishes to help us in our efforts by donating food, sharing a video or slides about Israel with us, or by suggesting a local charity for our support, we’d love the help! Please be involved in the religious education of our youth—the future of our Congregation. Best wishes to all!
